This 116-unit, Low-Income Housing Tax Credit project is under construction and will open in December of 2023.

Nestled in the vibrant city of Hopkins, Minnesota, Chorus Apartments is the newest addition to Alatus’ pipeline and the first deeply affordable project under the Alatus brand. By bringing 116 apartments with rents within 30%, 50%, and 60% of the area median income, Chorus will bring elevated affordability to Hopkins.

This six-story, stick build project will be the first building in the ground in this 15-acre master redevelopment that will include market rate, mixed income, senior cooperatives, and for sale townhomes. Through quality design and finishes, Chorus will be synonymous with the Alatus brand and will highlight the opportunity to have affordable housing juxtaposed and interwoven with other intergenerational and mixed income housing on the same site.

  • 92% of the units will be reserved for individuals and families earning less than 50% of the area median income (or between $40,000 -$60,000/ year)
  • Project will incorporate many sustainability initiatives, including rooftop solar, VRF heating and cooling systems, ride-sharing opportunities, and low carbon footprint appliances
  • Chorus will take 16 months to complete with an expected delivery in December 2023
